NOTE: Each week, we are featuring a school's performance from the 13th Annual Poetry Slam! During the two-night event, each of the 25 schools DC SCORES serves got the chance to perform original poems and songs.
On the first night of the Slam!, Truesdell Education Campus was one of many schools stressing a message through students' words. Theirs? The importance of family both on and off the soccer field.
