Support DC SCORES and win an iPad Jan. 27 at One Lounge

Everyone enjoys a good happy hour. It’s a great way to relax after the long work day, to get in some good laughs and catch up with friends.

Well, DC SCORES is ready to offer up all of that and a lot more.

On Thursday, Jan. 27 at One Lounge in Dupont Circle, we are hosting a happy hour sponsored by Coca-Cola to benefit our 800 poet-athletes. From 5:30-7:30 pm, there will be the usual drink specials and DC SCORES staff members will be on hand to tell you a little bit about our organization.

And, um, you’ll have a chance to win an iPad … and other great prizes. In fact, iPad raffle tickets are already on sale. Only 200 are available, so make sure you secure your shot(s) at the grand prize today. 

Raffle tickets for the other prize packages and for the iPad -- if any remain -- will be sold at One Lounge up until 7 pm the night of the event.Tickets are $10 each or three for $25, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting DC SCORES programming.

Winners will be picked at random at 7 pm. and do not need to be present -- but, really, who wouldn't want to be there?
