DC SCORES Cup the perfect opportunity for businesses to give back while having fun

Dear DC companies and firms,

Have you been looking for that soccer tournament that’s competitive but won’t drive away your more relaxed employees?

Have you been searching for a way to give back to a worthwhile cause while doing something you enjoy?

Well, the DC SCORES Cup is the perfect event for you.

The 9th Annual DC SCORES Cup is Saturday, June 11 at the Maryland SoccerPlex. With almost half of the projected bracket of 32 confirmed, we’re still looking for another 16 teams to fill the field for a great day of soccer.

Each company’s or firm’s $3,600 entry fee is a direct donation to our after-school program, with 100 percent of the tournament’s proceeds benefiting our 800 poet-athletes.

The SCORES Cup has been featured in The Washington Post, The Washington Business Journal, Legal Bisnow and Washington Lawyer, and has been cited by participants as an excellent team-builder for employees.

The tournament is co-ed and 7v7, and is played on the SoccerPlex’s three turf fields in addition to one grass surface. Participants must be 21 or older.
