NOTE: Each week, we are featuring a school's performance from the 13th Annual Poetry Slam! During the two-night event, each of the 25 schools DC SCORES serves got the chance to perform original poems and songs.
On the first night of the Slam!, Raymond Education Campus won the Golden Mic trophy for the best performance by an elementary school. When their name was announced, students rushed the stage, unable to contain their unbridled excitement.
Raymond's performance focused on the environment and living green. Check out the winner's poems!
