NOTE: Each week, we are featuring a school's performance from the 13th Annual Poetry Slam! During the two-night event, each of the 25 schools DC SCORES serves got the chance to perform original poems and songs.
On the second night of the Slam!, Howard Road Academy won second place among elementary schools for acting out "Poetry in Motion." Sampson J. won the individual Shine Award for orchestrating the performance.
