If you’re looking for a happy hour to attend tonight, there’s only one place to go – Social bar, where from 5-8 p.m. 10 percent of proceeds will directly benefit DC SCORES’ 750 poet-athletes.The Columbia Heights bar (1400 Meridian Place, NW – the 3400 block of 14th Street) will be featuring its amazing happy hour specials, such as $1 PBRs and $4 appetizers. And DC SCORES staff members will be available with information about our after-school program.
Additionally, by dropping off a business card, you can enter a chance to win the door prize of an autographed Sean Taylor Redskins jersey.
With DC SCORES programming set to begin next Monday, this is the perfect way to get excited about the upcoming season and learn more about our organization.
