Watch the World Cup Saturday at Public Bar and support DC SCORES

Looking for a place to watch the U.S.-England World Cup match Saturday?

Or, for that matter, all of the day’s matches live from South Africa?

Come to Public Bar, where the games will be shown on an array of large screens on multiple levels of the bar. Not only that, but DC SCORES will be on hand to pass out fliers about the July 10 SCORES Cup tournament and gather $5 donations to support our program.

So you’ll be watching the world’s best soccer players while supporting DC’s youth soccer players -- an enjoyable and productive day all in one.

As will be the case throughout the World Cup, Public will open for the day’s first match at 7:30 a.m. (S. Korea vs. Greece) and have $5 breakfast burritos, $5 stadium burgers and $3 Peronis – among other specials -- throughout the day.

DC SCORES will be present from 9:30 a.m., half an hour before the Argentina-Nigeria matchup, until the highly anticipated U.S.-England battle on the pitch.

So come on out to Public Saturday, donate $5 to our program (there is no cover charge), learn about our charity soccer tournament, and enjoy the best venue in the District to watch soccer.
