Today is a big day here at DC SCORES.Not only have we just launched this blog, but our elementary school kids will hit the field for their first game day this afternoon.
Poet-athletes from 16 schools will compete on fields throughout the city, celebrating the beginning of the month in the best way. Each site will host a girls game at 4 p.m. followed by a boys game at 5.
To view the game schedules for our 17 elementary schools (on Thursdays) and six middle schools (on Fridays) simply head over to our website.
Game days will continue every week into late November, with the middle schools completing the fall season with the Capital Cup championship games Nov. 24.
So head out to a school if you can, cheer on all the kids, and be a part of another great season of DC SCORES.
