DC SCORES to participate in G.O. Global Kick-Off Fundraiser June 29 with Oguchi Onyewu

G.O. Global Hosts Youth Soccer Match with Celebrity Athlete Coaches

GERMATOWN, Maryland (June 18, 2013) – On Saturday, June 29, 2013 G.O. Global, Inc will host The G.O. Global Kick-Off Fundraiser at the Maryland SoccerPlex Stadium in Germantown, MD from 12 to 4 pm. Middle school players from DC SCORES and Montgomery Soccer, Inc (MSI) youth soccer leagues will come together and compete under the coaching and mentorship of athletes from the US Men’s and Women’s National Soccer teams, MLS, NWSL, NFL, and other sports leagues. Celebrity athletes will also square off in an exciting half-time soccer scrimmage.
This event promises to be a fun-filled day for sports fans of all ages. In addition to enjoying a charitable match highlighting area youth soccer, attendees will have the opportunity to take pictures with and get autographs from celebrity athletes, enter raffle drawings for autographed team jerseys, support local vendors, participate in mini skills clinics and other youth-centered activities, and watch some of their favorite athletes in action. This will be a great outdoor event for families, youth groups, sports teams, and soccer enthusiasts to attend!

Stadium doors will open at 11:30 am for youth-centered activities, and the youth match starts at 1 pm. Advance discounted tickets are available for purchase online only at www.gogloballife.org/tickets, and can be picked up at the stadium Will Call booth when doors open. Regular-priced tickets will be available for purchase at the stadium ticket booth on event day. Children under 3 years enter free.
