Buy your tickets to March 24 DC SCORES Soccer Ball

These are busy, busy times at DC SCORES. Not only is today the first day of spring programming for our 17 elementary schools -- middle-school programming began last week -- but we are now a mere 10 days away from the first of our three large fundraisers, the DC SCORES Soccer Ball.

Tickets are on sale for the event, which is the perfect way to show your support for our program as the spring season picks up steam and also have a great time and network, if you'd like, with the 400-plus others in attendance.

The DC SCORES Soccer Ball is our annual fundraising gala featuring music, cocktails, a spoken-word performance by the students of Arts and Technology Academy, and a silent auction boasting a variety of items from jewelry to sports memorabilia, trips and dining experiences.

Approximately 450 guests are expected to attend, including local celebrities and athletes as well as members of the Washington, DC business and philanthropic community. 100% of the proceeds from the Soccer Ball directly support DC SCORES programming.

The 2010 Soccer Ball will begin at 7 p.m. March 24 in Union Station’s East Hall with cocktails.
