Black Boo of Mambo Sauce didn't just MC both nights of the 12th annual DC SCORES Poetry Slam! He also created a short video of the Eastside Slam!, which features some footage of the performances.
Also, Arts & Youth Development Specialist Khadijah Ali-Coleman -- also the poetry specialist at Kelly Miller, which won the middle school Eastside Slam! -- did a short blog post about the event, where she performed. And a writeup of the Slam! was posted on the Washington Examiner Web site.
