DC SCORES soccer season set to kick off

Unfortunately, the long-lasting rainstorm in the area today wiped out the first slate of DC SCORES elementary school soccer games. However, the 16th season of soccer games should begin tomorrow with the first middle school game day and continue until the middle school Capital Cup Championship the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

If you are interested in seeing DC SCORES’ 750-plus student-athletes in action on the soccer field, elementary school games are Thursdays at 4 p.m. – the girls play first, followed by the boys – and middle school games are Fridays at 4 p.m.

There are 18 DC SCORES elementary schools, allowing for nine games across the city each Thursday. There are seven middle schools in our program -- but since we run the only middle school league in the city, non-DC SCORES schools compete in our league. There are 11 girls teams and 12 boys teams.

See below for the entire elementary school schedule (beginning next week) as well as the Week 1 slate for middle schools. Updated week-by-week schedules as well as links to the full schedules will be available on the DC SCORES website throughout the season.
